Broadcast Production Specialist

About this role:

This position is responsible for supporting live virtual and in-person video events as part of the Public Affairs Communications and Brand Management team. The role requires technical expertise in broadcast operations, a strong understanding of live production workflows, and the ability to deliver high-quality experiences for both in-person and remote audiences. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based at 550 South Tryon Street in Charlotte, NC . The Wells Fargo job profile Media Production Consultant .

In this role, you will:

• Lead in-person and hybrid webcasts, ensuring seamless execution and audience engagement

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot broadcast audio and video equipment at the Charlotte hub and other locations as needed

• Collaborate with engineers, producers, and digital media specialists to execute live video webcasts

• Provide hands-on support in multiple technical areas, including directing, audio engineering, and robotic camera operation

• Develop and document best-practice workflows for production operations

• Coordinate technical direction for daily live events, including transmission paths and file encoding

• Interact with senior company officers and staff in a positive, professional manner

• Adapt quickly to changing live event environments and collaborate effectively with colleagues

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Technical Operations experience, Video Equipment Operation experience, experience with a Production Agency or Broadcast Media company, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience leading live and hybrid webcast productions with a focus on audience experience

• Experience serving in multiple technical roles during live events, including camera operation and audio engineering

• Experience operating and troubleshooting professional broadcast audio and video equipment

• Experience interacting with executive-level stakeholders in high-visibility settings

• Experience with signal formats and distribution technologies such as HD-SDI, IP, NDI, and Dante

• Experience using PC-based systems to manage and control electronic production equipment

• Experience utilizing video collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Video Conferencing for live event integration

Job Expectations:

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
