Basic Job Functions: Nucor Steel Lexington is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inside Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: championing a culture of safety and creating safety as a value, develop and execute on commercial goals while providing world class customer service, be a leader outside of commercial role and execute on operational metrics, maintain inventory control process to manage cash, coordinate contract reviews, facilitate continuous improvement across the organization, drive integration with production scheduler. Relocation assistance and routine travel are expected. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. - Knowledge of steel markets and proven sales experience within the steel industry
- Minimum of 2 years Sales Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office, D365, or similar platforms.
- Forecasting, inventory management, and analytical experience.
- Prior leadership experience.
