100% outpatient rheumatology – no hospital call
Average patient volume: 15–20 patients per day
Established referral base within a large multispecialty group

Position Overview
As a Rheumatologist at Tryon, you will provide comprehensive outpatient care for a wide range of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions. You will collaborate closely with primary care physicians and specialists in a setting designed to promote both clinical excellence and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases (e.g., arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis)
Provide longitudinal care, including treatment planning and medication management
Utilize advanced diagnostics to support patient care
Collaborate across specialties to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
Option to participate in clinical research, teaching, or quality initiatives
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology
Eligible for or currently licensed in North Carolina
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Strong communication and collaboration skills
