Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in Greensboro, NC for the uping school year under a contract arrangement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment and skilled in adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with middle school-aged children
• Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education laws
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent munication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students unique learning goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
• Provide targeted support to help students access the general education curriculum
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student development and coordinate services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with district policies
