Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Cardiac Sonographer skilled in Ultrasound General imaging to contribute expertise in a well-equipped, patient-focused medical center. Located near Hamptonville, NC, this contract position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties, providing balance alongside professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform outpatient and inpatient cardiac imaging procedures including Transthoracic Echo (TTE), Nuclear Medicine Echo (Nuc Med ECHO), Transesophageal Echo (TEE), Pharmacologic Stress Testing, and Bubble Studies.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Clinical Medical Assistants, EKG Technicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Physicians.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment such as Philips systems with EMR management via EPIC and PACS technologies.
• Adhere to established protocols during patient exams to ensure accuracy, safety, and quality results.
• Participate in department orientation and ongoing education to maintain best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Echocardiography Technician.
• Nationally recognized certification (ARDMS RDCS) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency conducting the listed imaging studies.
• Ability to work independently within a friendly, team-oriented healthcare setting.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Hours: 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• No weekend shifts, no on-call responsibilities.
• Clinic closed on major holidays.
