Position Overview
The Corporate Legal Secretary will provide high-level administrative and transactional support to attorneys handling complex corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience supporting attorneys throughout corporate transactions and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in corporate and transactional matters
- Prepare, revise, and finalize corporate documents, agreements, and correspondence
- Assist with document management throughout mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions
- Coordinate closings, compile closing binders, and maintain transaction files
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference calls
- Conduct filings with Secretary of State and other regulatory agencies
- Maintain corporate records, entity formations, and governance documentation
- Handle time entry, billing support, and expense reports
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
