As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a strong, visible presence. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to respond quickly across the site. You will build positive connections through exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter and detect suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services if needed, following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Enforce rules and regulations of the location to promote a secure environment for all individuals present.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
