Press Operator
We seek printing press operators with offset/litho press experience for our Durham, NC site.
Need to Know:
- Shift: both Days and Nights, 7 PM-7 AM, 2/2/3 schedule
- Pay: $26-$30/hour plus a $3 shift premium
Description: Press Operator
Summary:- Operate Wide Format Offset/Litho Sheet-fed Press, preferably Komori or Heidelberg.
- RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.
- Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
- Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
- Make needed adjustments
- Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
- Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs, and other items as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of offset/Litho sheet-fed press operation experience
- Diploma or GED
- Able to pass background and drug screen
