Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper With Admin Support to join our team! This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and supporting a small team environment. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records (A/P, A/R, general ledger entries.)
- Compute and record numerical data, process invoices, vendor bills, CC statements, and expense reports.
- Check the accuracy of business transactions to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Perform monthly bank and CC reconciliations
- Assist with payroll preparation and submission (in accordance with HR/payroll provider
- Generate financial reports ( balance sheet, income statement, cash flow summary, monthly P&L)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year end tax preparation
- Answer phones, route inquiries, and support general office communication
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for financial and company records
- Order office supplies, run errands, and coordinate with vendors when necessary
- Assist with scheduling, meetings, maintaining calendars, and preparing basic correspondence
- Support HR and operations departments with document preparation, forms, and onboarding tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of Quickbooks Online preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office technology
- Experience supporting administrative or office coordination tasks
- Familiarity with manufacturing, service-based, or small business environments
- Knowledge of Payroll systems, Quickbooks online preferred.
