Electrical Systems Tech
Position OverviewThe Electrical Systems Tech will oversee the design, deployment, and management of electrical power monitoring systems for commercial and industrial facilities. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of electrical power systems, particularly in mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for critical facilities.
- Manage the commissioning and installation of electrical power systems, ensuring compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and UL standards.
- Oversee the planning, resource allocation, and scheduling of EPMS projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and technicians to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures and safety protocols for electrical power systems and metering architectures.
- Monitor power quality and performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement and optimization of electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in electrical power monitoring systems, construction, and engineering management.
- Experience with Modbus, BACnet devices, or SCADA is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, metering architectures, and power quality monitoring.
