Public Cloud Project Manager - Raleigh, NC -
As a Public Cloud Project Manager, you will lead strategic projects for major enterprise clients, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to completion. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams—from software engineering to senior executives—to shape project goals, manage timelines, and ensure seamless execution. Your expertise in project management and deep understanding of the cloud industry will help drive innovation and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, from defining Statements of Work (SoW) to overseeing implementation and delivery. Your ability to navigate complex technical landscapes while maintaining a strong customer focus will be key to your success. International travel may be required, depending on project needs. ### What You'll Do
- Oversee project execution, ensuring that goals, scope, budget, and resources align with customer expectations.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Assist senior leadership with contract negotiations and the development of project Statements of Work (SoW) and RFI/RFP responses.
- Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
- Manage third-party deliverables and cross-functional engineering requests.
- Advocate for the adoption of innovative open-source technologies. ### What We're Looking For
- Experience in IT project management within the cloud computing or open-source software industry.
- Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of Linux, open-source technologies, and public cloud platforms.
- Proven experience leading software development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed. ### Bonus Skills
- Project Management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience managing global projects remotely.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software development processes. ### What We Offer
