Associate Clinical Director (BCBA) – Clinic Leadership | Durham, NC
Full-Time | $130,000–$160,000/year (base + performance bonus)

At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) , we provide compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that help children with autism build independence, communication, and life skills. We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as Associate Clinical Director at our Durham, NC clinic—a leadership role designed to support clinical excellence, mentor developing clinicians, and elevate family outcomes.
This is an ideal role for a BCBA ready to step into clinic-level influence while maintaining a reduced, manageable caseload .

What You’ll Do
- Supervise, mentor, and support BCBAs, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, and trainees
- Lead caregiver training to promote generalization and consistency across settings
- Provide direct supervision and clinical oversight using evidence-based practices
- Review treatment plans, data, notes, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Support your team’s performance goals while managing a partial personal caseload
- Oversee staff and student supervision in alignment with BACB requirements
- Participate in continuing education, training initiatives, and professional development
- Contribute to clinic-wide process improvements , clinical policy, and best practices
- Foster partnerships that align with AutismCOE’s values and care standards
- Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification in good standing (required)
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- 3+ years of experience practicing as a BCBA (leadership experience preferred)
- Demonstrated skill in coaching, leadership, and clinical collaboration
- Excellent communication, data-driven decision making, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and ethical documentation standards
Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000–$160,000/year based on experience

Requirements
- At least 3 years of BCBA experience is required
- BCBA Certification: Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, per BACB guidelines
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities
- Passionate about clinical quality and client progress to drive decision-making and best practices
- Exceptional skillset with leadership, time management, and observation
- Strong analytical thinker who is data-driven and client-centered
- Effective Collaborator and team player, who is empathetic and culturally competent
- Protect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations
