Outside Sales Account Manager

Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth:
- Call on and meet with prospective and existing customers to promote MRO products and solutions, including maintenance supplies, tools, safety equipment, and other industrial consumables.
- Identify customer needs and provide consultative solutions to support their maintenance and operational requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize account potential.
- Develop new contacts and opportunities within assigned accounts to gainshare of wallet through category expansion
- Prospect within assigned region to generate and qualify new leads.
- Utilize various channels such as networking, industry events, and referrals to expand reach.
- Plan and execute territory coverage efficiently to optimize sales opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product innovations.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions and customer preferences.Competencies and skills
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience within the MRO or industrial supplies industry preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations products and the needs of manufacturing or facility management.
- Proven success in B2B sales with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and territory planning abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite for tracking and reporting.
- Basic understanding of MRO product lines, including material handling, tools, safety equipment, fasteners, or related supplies.
- Knowledge of material handling and industrial maintenance is a plus.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.EEO/AA Statement
