Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Behavioral Health ED Hold unit position, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and active NC or compact licensure.

Details

• Position is located in Asheville, NC at a hospital-based Emergency Department Behavioral Health Hold unit
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted), ACLS, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if candidate is from Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• This is a Behavioral Health ED Hold unit — experience in behavioral health or psychiatric emergency settings is highly relevant
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA certifications may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirements
