French Broad Adventures is hiring CDL BUS DRIVERS for the upcoming 2024 season!

For 44 years French Broad Adventures has been a leader in the outdoor industry in Western North Carolina and has trained thousands of adventure guides. Our adventures offer you the opportunity to join a family-oriented small business and gain important skills in outdoor adventures for this season and beyond.

*This job will be based at our Marshall, NC Outpost and pays up to $16 per hour (DOE).

The mission of French Broad Adventures is to combine experienced guides, excellent customer service, and exceptional outdoor adventures to create incomparable memories for our valued guests. Our main season goes from mid-May through September. This is a seasonal position.

Come spend your summer with us, transporting guests safely to and from the beautiful French Broad River! We drive enthusiastic guides and excited guests down some beautiful and winding mountain roads to their river adventure. We often hear from guests that the bus ride was one of their most memorable experiences, with guides and drivers telling fun jokes and providing them with fascinating local history. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.

• Drivers might also be asked to assist in loading, unloading, and securing rafts and other boats on top of the bus, when qualified to do so.
• Drivers must be comfortable sitting or standing for long periods, driving in various weather conditions, and able to remain focused in a loud and fun environment.
• Daily fluid inspections and documentation are also required.

REQUIREMENT: Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements
