Team Lead
Duties:
- Responsible for overseeing a team of production associates to ensure the safe, efficient and high quality manufacturing processes in the automotive plant.
- Leading daily operations, driving performance metrics, ensuring adherence to standard operating produces and fostering a positive team culture aligned with organizational roles.
- Lead and motivate a team of production associates to meet daily production targets.
- Conduct team huddles, assigns tasks, and monitor performance and attendance.
- Serve as a liaison between team members and management, escalating issues as necessary.
- Oversee manufacturing processes on the shop floor to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust assignments to meet operational goals.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Ensure team adherence to all company safety policies, 5S, and OSHA requirements.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately and participate in investigations and corrective actions.
- Support quality assurance by performing visual inspections and audits. Ensure nonconforming parts are identified, segregated, and reported per procedure.
- Train new team members on processes, equipment, safety, and quality expectations.
- Provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance and support skill development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, automotive industry experience highly preferred.
- Prior Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with RF Scanner
- Microsoft Office
Shift: 5:45am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday
