CAD EngineerAssembler

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented CAD Engineer/Assembler to join our clients team in Wilmington DE. This role combines CAD drafting and hands-on assembly work to support product design fabrication and production.

- Lighting Product Manufacturing : maintain manufacturing design documentation including drawings specifications and technical files. Create CAD drawings and cut sheets for projects as requested by sales team
-Create update and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings for lighting fixtures components and assemblies.
-Interpret engineering specifications and convert them into detailed manufacturing drawings.
-Work directly with engineering production and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
-Assist in preparing BOMs (Bills of Materials) work instructions and technical documentation.
-Support custom product design modifications and prototype development.
Assemble lighting fixtures and components according to engineering drawings schematics and work instructions.
-Perform mechanical assembly using standard tools and equipment.
-Inspect components for quality and dimensional accuracy before and after assembly.
-Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot assembly or design issues.
-Maintain a clean safe and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards.
Job Requirements:

-Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Drafting/Design Industrial Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
-Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks Inventor or similar.
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
-Experience in manufacturing assembly or fabrication preferred.
-Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Hours: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
