The Designery North Raleigh is seeking to build our team! We are looking for someone who can manage the communication and solution process with our prospective commercial partners to help them maximize their business capabilities by partnering with The Designery. This person may also work with prospective residential customers, qualifying them for products or services and then managing them as prospects through the proposal stage of their projects. This position will be paid through a generous, uncapped commission plan and is expected to be part-time and flexible in location, with the store/showroom as our center of operations. Training in applicable tools and processes will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Call/Text/Email prospective professional partner leads to open communication by proactively reaching out, initiating contact and following-up
• Call/Text/Email prospective residential customer leads, either in response to customer contact or by proactively reaching out where appropriate
• Qualify prospective partners and customers for products and/or services
• Track all interactions with prospective partners and customers and share with the team
• Accurately measure customer project space(s) and communicate those measurements and customer preferences to designers for development
• Facilitate team efforts with vendor partners to obtain quotes for customer projects, assisting where possible to close sales
• Respond quickly to prospect questions, clarifications and changes

Qualifications

• Experience in contracting/remodeling/home maintenance businesses
• Willingness to talk with professional and residential prospects in the sales process, including initiating contact and qualification
• Ability to logically think through prospects' needs to reach appropriate solutions
• Can read and understand design drawings/layouts and convey ideas accurately
• Can explain and administer project costing
• Can understand and explain construction project management
• Can learn and appropriately utilize all applicable tools and processes
