Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and relevant medical histories accurately.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis as required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage appointment scheduling and promote effective communication within the office.
• Educate patients on treatment options, medication usage, and proper skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are organized, clean, and sufficiently stocked with supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related clinical setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and common office software is preferred.
