Front Desk Associate needed.

We are a busy dog grooming salon located in the Foxcroft East neighborhood just 5 minutes from SouthPark Mall.

This job is full-time Tuesday through Saturday daytime hours.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Greet customers with a smile and positive, happy attitude.
• Check in and out customers.
• Set up new client accounts.
• Answer phone calls and return missed calls continually throughout the day.
• Be happy and comfortable talking on the phone, answering questions, and booking appointments.
• Check and respond to emails.
• Respond to and book online appointment requests.
• Occasionally post to the shop Facebook and Instagram accounts.
• Be able to address customer questions and concerns with compassion and care.
• Resolve issues and complaints promptly and professionally. Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Be able to work independently and multi-task.
• Learning some information about grooming is required to answer customer's questions and book appointments.
• Keep the front desk area clean.
• Maintain a professional appearance in front of clients.
• Hair and make-up should be neat.
• Have a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
• Be a reliable, conscientious, and independent worker.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma
• Previous customer service experience and phone experience is a must.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, Daytime hours.
• Must LOVE dogs.

HOURS of OPERATION

• We are open Tuesday through Friday - 8am to 5:30pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm, and closed Sunday and Monday.

PAY

• Pay starts at $15 per hour and will increase to $16 per hour after a training period.
