Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Candidates must have a valid NC License. - BLS certification is required. Description: The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse in Orthopedic Surgery. This position is committed to making a positive impact in healthcare. The facility is recognized for providing high clinical quality year over year. It has received numerous awards and recognitions in patient safety and nursing excellence. The unit features 32 individual rooms and a collaborative staff environment. Staff consists of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and a HUC. The patient-to-nurse ratio is manageable and conducive to quality care. Equipment used on the unit includes walkers, vital sign machines, and other essential tools. The EMR system utilized is Cerner. Candidates should be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The best personality fit is a team player who can provide compassionate care. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. This role involves various patient care activities and procedures. Dressing changes, suture removal, and wound care management are typical tasks.
