We are seeking an EHS Manager for our growing client in Fayetteville, NC This is a direct hire, permanent placement role that will be 100% onsite.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for driving a strong safety culture and a proven ability to manage EHS programs in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Management: Develop, implement, and oversee all EHS programs and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Team & People Management: Lead and mentor a team of two safety coordinators, fostering their professional growth and development.

• Risk & Safety Management: Proactively drive safety and risk assessment initiatives to identify and control hazards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.

• Strategic Project Oversight: Take on capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, managing safety considerations from planning through implementation.

• Technological Integration: Utilize and leverage technology to streamline EHS processes and create a more efficient and data-driven safety environment.

• Incident Investigation: Investigate all EHS-related incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

• Experience: A minimum of three years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Skills: Proven ability to drive a safety-first culture, strong project management skills, and experience in risk assessment.

• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).

• Personal Attributes: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
