**Job Title: Packaging Associate** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team in the Paint department, where you will play a crucial role in the repackaging and labeling of paint products. This position involves handling full paint cans and pouring them into drums or machines for processing. **Responsibilities** + Remove full paint cans from boxes on pallets. + Pour paint cans into drums or processing machines for repackaging. + Dispose of or recycle empty paint cans as required. + Ensure new labels are applied to repackaged paint products. **Essential Skills** + Experience in packaging or general labor. + Ability to stand for the entire shift. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with production, assembly, and packaging lines. + Familiarity with using a pallet jack. **Why Work Here?** Be a part of a company that values its employees through a Step Progression program offering reviews and raises over 18 months. The environment is not air-conditioned and has a noticeable paint and chemical smell, which is non-hazardous. Safety is a priority, requiring steel/composite toe shoes, long pants, and adherence to a strict dress code. Ear plugs and safety glasses are mandatory in certain areas. The role involves working in an active 10-person team on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm. This is a project-based position for two months, with potential for long-term employment due to business growth. Expect to get hands-on and possibly dirty in this engaging role. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
