Job Type: OTR / Regional
Freight: No-touch dry van with drop and hook
Home Time: Every two weeks (6 days per month)
Weekly Pay: $1,350 to $1,550

A CDL-A truck driver in this operation runs long-haul and regional freight across multiple states, focusing on maintaining forward progress through scheduled loads. The day-to-day experience centers on moving efficiently between pickups and deliveries while limiting downtime through coordinated dispatch activity. Drivers operate within a system designed to keep trucks advancing without unnecessary interruptions.

Home Time and Schedule Structure
Time off follows a rotating schedule with approximately six days home per month. This allows a Class A CDL driver to remain on the road long enough to support earnings while still having planned breaks for personal time. Schedules are communicated in advance, helping create a more manageable routine both on and off the road.

Freight and Movement
Freight consists of no-touch dry van loads with a strong emphasis on drop-and-hook operations. A CDL A driver works within a network that prioritizes efficiency, reducing time spent waiting at facilities and supporting smooth transitions between loads. Routes may cover all 48 states depending on dispatch needs.

Equipment and On-Road Setup
Drivers operate late-model tractors, including Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt units. Equipment is assigned to support extended time on the road, with features such as refrigerators, APUs, and inverters. This setup allows a CDL-A truck driver to maintain comfort and consistency while away from home.
