We are seeking a qualified Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to help lead and support our Dietary Department.

Position Overview

The Certified Dietary Manager assists in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Under the guidance of the Administrator and/or Dietary Consultant, this role ensures high-quality nutritional services are provided daily while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary department.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in managing daily dietary department operations
  2. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food service regulations
  3. Maintain sanitation and safety standards
  4. Support menu planning and nutritional service delivery
  5. Oversee food preparation standards and quality control
  6. Promote resident satisfaction with meals and dining experience
  7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members regarding resident dietary needs

Qualifications:

  1. Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals (ANFP)
  2. Successful completion of the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) exam
  3. Minimum 2+ years of foodservice management experience
  4. Strong mathematical and budgeting skills
  5. Highly organized and detail-oriented
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
