Job Title: Community Relations Specialist-Intern

Overview: As a Community Relations Specialist Intern with Freedom In Me Business Showers, you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with businesses, securing sponsorships and partnerships, and orchestrating PR opportunities for our organization. You will be responsible for representing our brand to external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our values and objectives while maximizing opportunities for growth and positive exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Sponsorships and Partnerships:

   • Identify potential business partners and sponsors aligned with our organization's mission and target audience.
   • Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and partnership pitches to attract new collaborators.
   • Negotiate sponsorship deals and partnership agreements to maximize mutual benefit and value.
   • Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with sponsors and partners to ensure satisfaction and engagement.

2. PR Opportunity Management:

   • Identify and capitalize on PR opportunities to enhance our organization's visibility and reputation.
   • Collaborate with internal teams to develop PR strategies and campaigns that align with organizational goals.
   • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other relevant stakeholders to secure coverage and exposure.
   • Coordinate PR events, press releases, interviews, and other activities to generate positive publicity.

3. Community Engagement:

   • Act as a liaison between our organization and the community, representing our brand professionally and ethically.
   • Engage with community members through various channels, including social media, events, and partnerships.
   • Gather feedback and insights from the community to inform decision-making and improve engagement strategies.
   • Collaborate with internal teams to develop community-focused initiatives and programs.

4. Measurement and Reporting:

   • Track and analyze the effectiveness of sponsorship, partnership, and PR activities using relevant metrics and KPIs.
   • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate results, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
   • Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve future performance.

Requirements:

• Studies Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proven experience in community relations, partnership development, or PR, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a track record of successfully securing sponsorships and partnerships.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on PR opportunities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
