JOB SUMMARY :

This position will provide support to the painting operations across commercial and industrial projects. This role assists the Superintendent in coordinating field activities, ensuring quality control and overseeing safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and coating, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage crews and strategic partners effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support daily field operations on multiple job sites under the direction of the Superintendent.
• Ensure all painting work is performed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor and report on job progress, material needs, and potential delays.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to inspect work quality, surface preparation, paint application, and final finishes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and material usage.
• Coordinate deliveries of paint and supplies to job sites in a timely and efficient manner.
• Serve as a liaison between field crews and office staff to ensure smooth communication.
• Enforce company safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist with punch list completion and project close-out procedures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· 2+ years of experience in the painting trade or construction field supervision.

· Knowledge of painting methods, materials, tools, and safety standards.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job specifications.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

· Proficiency in using mobile apps or software for reporting (e.g., Procore) is a plus.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

· Ability to walk, stand, and climb ladders/scaffolding for extended periods.

· Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED):

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience with specialty coatings or large-scale commercial projects.
