Senior Software Engineer
LogistiVIEW is a Supply Chain software company focused on empowering our Warehousing/Distribution, Manufacturing and Retail customers to leverage new technologies that give them the edge. Focused in the areas of Automated Decision Making, Advanced Resource Planning, Human and Robotic Optimization, and Intuitive Execution, we work with our customers to solve pain points of today and prepare them to tackle the problems of tomorrow by consulting with customers and implementing our patented, tier 1, enterprise software platform.
The LogistiVIEW software is a highly dynamic platform with the ability to suit the needs of specialized processes, systems integration, and user experience. Its implementation leverages its configurability, programmability, and extensibility to meet the challenges and requirements of our customers.
What You’ll Do:
• Utilize your technical development skills and product knowledge to design and implement solutions leveraging the configurability, programmability, and extensibility of the LogistiVIEW platform
• Collaborate with a team to ensure completion of deliverables and phases throughout project lifecycles • Utilize project management and support tools to document progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Communicate updates and impediments with teammates and managers
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with customer information
• Take on mentorship responsibilities to help develop the technical skill sets and abilities of junior resources
• Role may require up to 30% travelWhat We Look For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent job experience
• 4-plus years’ experience in technical consulting or software development with progressive responsibilities • Strong SQL and Java capabilities• Experience in Angular is a plus
• Familiarity with warehouse environments and/or operations is a plus
• Technical expertise in requirements gathering and systems design, development, and implementation (as part of a project team)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to be able to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
• Ability to translate real-world solutions into technical designs
• Passion for mentoring and developing others
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Excellence in presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently based on a strategic plan or under general direction
• Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools and serve as team consultant
• Strong solution architecture, high quality technical solution delivery, strong communication and client-facing personal skills• Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment delivering technical solutions to clients
• Experience delivering enterprise applications• Knowledge of infrastructure components - including servers, storage systems, networking, virtualization, and operating systems
• Experience with designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
• Leadership and project management skills to lead solution delivery initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.What We Offer:
