Principal Product Manager Azure
At Arpio, we’re building the next generation of cloud disaster recovery—designed for the modern enterprise. As cloud workloads face a growing list of threats and increasing complexity, we’ve created the easiest-to-use, most reliable SaaS solution on the market.
Arpio protects your entire AWS workload from disaster in just a few clicks—eliminating time-consuming setups, risky manual processes, and sleepless nights.
But we’re more than just a product. We’re a small, passionate team driven by the thrill of solving tough challenges and shaping the future of resilience in the cloud. We're not afraid to learn, grow, or push boundaries to build something truly innovative.
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our first Azure-based disaster recovery offering—a critical component of our multi-cloud product strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a greenfield initiative, from strategy to launch, in a high-impact, high-autonomy environment.
- Define and lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Arpio’s disaster recovery offering for Azure.
- Ensure alignment with Azure best practices, customer needs, and the core Arpio value proposition.
- Conduct ongoing market research and customer discovery to develop deep insights into the cloud resilience space and our ideal customer profile.
- Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog for the Azure offering.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to translate needs into functional and non-functional requirements, and shepherd development through an agile delivery process.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, launch plans, and long-term customer support initiatives.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including services, architecture, and deployment patterns.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and networking fundamentals—able to go deep on common topics like DNS, routing, and identity and access management.
- Working knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud and hybrid environments.
- Proven success in bringing B2B SaaS product offerings to market.
- Natural problem-solver with a customer-first mindset and a creative approach to designing solutions.
- Comfortable navigating the ambiguity and pace of an early-stage startup.
- Excellent communicator—able to break down complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. resident.
- Based in or near the Triangle Region of North Carolina—we have a team and office in Durham, and hybrid work is an option.
- Experience at a startup or in high-growth environments.
- Competitive salary + equity package.
- Fully employer-paid health benefits; 75% employer-paid dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Unlimited PTO policy.
- Small, collaborative team with a high level of ownership and autonomy.
- Opportunity to learn and contribute at the forefront of cloud resilience.
