Field Activation Manager
What this position is about:
The Field Activation Manager is responsible for ensuring flawless execution of the retail ambassador activation program across assigned states and agency partners.
The role acts as the operational bridge between Head Office strategy and in-market execution, with a strong focus on execution quality, retail compliance, field coaching, operational consistency, and continuous performance improvement.
The position requires a highly hands-on field leader capable of traveling across multiple states to audit retail execution, coach agency teams and ambassadors, resolve operational issues in real time, and ensure activation standards are consistently delivered inside retail stores.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure flawless execution of the retail ambassador activation program across assigned states through regular in-market visits, retail audits, mystery visits, and execution validations inside retail stores.
- Monitor execution consistency, retail compliance, consumer engagement quality, and adherence to operational standards across all activation touchpoints.
- Act as the primary field execution lead for agency partners and retail ambassadors operating inside retail stores.
- Provide hands-on coaching, field training, operational guidance, and real-time corrective feedback to improve execution quality and ensure consistent delivery of activation standards.
- Lead field execution performance management by identifying operational gaps, compliance risks, execution issues, and training needs across markets and agency teams.
- Escalate key issues when necessary and ensure rapid implementation of corrective action plans.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy standardized execution tools, operational guidelines, training materials, execution checklists, and ambassador scripts to ensure consistency across all states and field teams.
- Support new market launches, pilot activations, and program expansions by ensuring ambassador readiness, operational alignment, execution quality, and rapid collection of field learnings and performance feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Operations, or related field.
- 4-8 years experience in Retail Execution, Field Marketing, Experiential Marketing, Consumer Activation, Merchandising Operations, Retail Operations, or Agency Field Management.
- FMCG, Beverage, Tobacco, Telecom, Convenience Retail, Agency, Experiential Marketing, or Multi-Unit Retail Operations.
- Fluent English.
- Proven experience managing field teams, agency partners, retail standards, or multi-state execution programs.
- Strong operational execution mindset, with the ability to conduct audits, identify gaps, resolve field issues, and drive execution consistency across markets.
- Experience coaching and developing ambassadors and field personnel to deliver high-performance results.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced field environment with frequent interstate travel.

- Ability to travel regularly to support field audits, agency coaching, and execution reviews
- Comfortable managing field realities and operational issues directly on the ground
- Strong ability to coach and influence agency teams and retail ambassadors without direct reporting authority
- Highly operational role requiring strong field presence and hands-on execution leadership
- Ability to react quickly to field realities while maintaining execution and compliance standards
