Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in cardiovascular intensive care to support critical patients in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract role is focused on providing expert care in an 18-bed CVICU unit within a facility offering Level 3 Trauma services and certified centers for chest pain and stroke.

Responsibilities include prehensive critical care nursing such as continuous hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, central line care, and acute patient assessment. Nurses will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists, and support staff to ensure the highest quality outes for patients with diagnoses like sepsis, stroke, CHF, COVID, and more.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed RN with a minimum of 2 years ICU experience; CVICU experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale proficiency
• Strong critical thinking skills with expertise in vent care and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system and related clinical technology
• Ability to work weekends every other week and fulfill 75% of holiday shifts during contract

Scheduled shifts are 12 hours overnight (1900 to 0700), with a supportive team culture emphasizing collaboration and patient safety.
