Cognitive Performance Specialist
In this role, you will support the CRAFT human performance program by providing individualized and group instruction in cognitive enhancement strategies, performance psychology, stress management, focus optimization, and mental resilience. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary professionals, you will help integrate cognitive performance techniques into a comprehensive human performance framework that directly supports mission success.

- Deliver cognitive performance training aligned with Human Performance curriculum and operational objectives.
- Conduct assessments and provide individualized strategies to enhance focus, resilience, decision-making, and mission readiness.
- Educate aircrew on cognitive enhancement techniques, stress management, and performance optimization strategies.
- Support planning, execution, and validation of the human performance program at the assigned location.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate cognitive performance strategies within the broader performance and recovery framework.
- Participate in research initiatives, curriculum development, and instructional design efforts.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data management practices.
- Perform additional duties in support of mission and program objectives.
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Counseling, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sport Science with a specialization in Sport Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering cognitive or mental performance training in military, collegiate athletics, professional sports, aerospace, tactical, or other high-performance environments.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (T3 background investigation).
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility and employment in this position.
