Delivery Manager

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Delivery Manager. Summary: We are seeking a Technical Lead/Data Manager with a strong background in data warehousing and ETL, combined with proven people leadership experience. This role is approximately 60% technical and 40% management, making it ideal for someone who has grown from a developer or technical lead into a leadership role. The Delivery Manager will guide a team's workload, deliverables, and output, and will have ownership of projects. This position is a key step toward becoming a future team manager. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for data warehousing, data movement, and data exchange projects
• Partner with team members to plan, prioritize, and deliver project work while ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Act as a bridge between technical execution and leadership by aligning team deliverables with business needs
• Mentor and guide team members; provide feedback and help resolve conflicts when necessary
• Manage project ownership including scope, schedules, and deliverables
• Support resource planning and budgeting discussions as needed
• Leverage a technical background to understand the team's work, challenges, and solutions, even if not hands-on coding
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred (top-tier schools a differentiator)
• 3+ years of leadership experience, such as people management, technical lead, or project manager with people oversight
• Strong technical foundation in data warehousing and ETL (Apache NiFi, AWS, PySpark, or similar technologies)
• Demonstrated ability to manage team deliverables, resolve conflicts, and provide constructive feedback
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and managing data movement or data integration projects
• Ability to bridge technical and managerial responsibilities-understanding both architecture and execution

• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, or AWS-based ETL frameworks
• Background transitioning from development to management (developer/tech lead experience is highly valued)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Telecom or large enterprise experience a plus
