Warehouse Specialist I

We are looking for a capable Warehouse Specialist to support our company's warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and perform various warehouse activities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process, package and ship orders accurately
- Unload trucks and receive in inventory
- Organize stocks and maintain inventory
- Utilize a Production Report and work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely shipments.
- Organize warehouse space
- Work with transportation contacts for all shipments as well as brokers for international shipments
- Responsible for light configuration of some product.
- Assists in all matters of facilities maintenance, safety, and upkeep.
Skills Required:
- Ability to lift heavy boxes
- Prior experience and strong knowledge of shipping protocols
- Strong organizational skills
- Good business judgment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a complete manner
- Ability to proactively anticipate needs
- Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
- Working knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel, and shipping programs such as Fedex and UPS. Ability to learn new programs such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
- High School degree or equivalent
