CAD Layout Engineer
CAD Layout Engineer located near High Point, NC for a leading manufacturer of innovative furniture products. This position is responsible to translate architectural floor plans into precise, efficient seating layouts that maximize capacity, sightlines, and accessibility. education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Translate architectural floor plans into precise, efficient seating layouts that maximize capacity, sightlines, and accessibility.
- Guide projects from concept through installation, ensuring seamless integration within complex architectural environments.
- Lead the mechanical design, engineering, and technical execution of advanced seating systems
- Lead the creation, review, and maintenance of accurate, detailed BOMs for all projects
- Ensure all designs comply with ADA guidelines, building codes, fire safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Attend site visits to assess installation conditions, provide technical oversight, and resolve engineering challenges in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering/architectural engineering experience
- Experience creating layouts
- Experience with Revit/CAD modeling
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and construction practices
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
