Supply Chain Planner III

Where the Chemistry Happens…

This role will serve as a supply chain planner supporting the material planning for our transloader and tolling partners. This role will be our lead planner for our entire asphalt business. They will be responsible for working directly with our production site to develop and execute a supply plan which supports the needs of our customers while also reducing our total cost position as a business. This role will also work with our tolling, transloading, and warehousing partners to service the tolling, packaging, and/or export needs of this portfolio. They will be responsible for working within SAP to process orders, forecasts, and communicating cross-functionally about any potential supply strategy, interruptions and/or issues.

Formula for Success

• You will leverage your degree in business, engineering, supply chain, chemistry, or related field
• Masters or advanced degree in supply chain or related field preferred
• The ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related function
• Working experience within supply chain, manufacturing or material-based companies, preferably in the chemicals market

Knowledge/Skills

• Time management, prioritization
• Excellent communication skills – presenting at various levels of the organization
• High proficiency with SAP and/or MS office tools: Excel, PowerPoint is critical.
• Supply chain expertise in planning, supply/demand balancing, inventory strategy, and network planning
• Strong people skills. Working with operations, product management, and sales to effectively execute our planning strategy to service a dynamic and highly seasonal business
• Analytical skills; ability to pull and analyze data quickly
• Organizational skills; managing many complex processes
• Team development and strong leadership skills
• Ability to adapt and learn other supply chain functions that help support the success of our entire supply chain organization
