Mechanic
Night Shift Mechanic
Shift: 6PM - 6AM 2-2-3 Schedule
Hourly: $36/Hour
Location: Hendersonville, NC
Position OverviewThe Night Shift Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment during nighttime operations. The role ensures that production equipment is running efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maintaining production standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including Tetra Pak Aseptic Lines and Krones Blow Mold systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Adhere to safety regulations and standards, including GMP and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Hands-on experience with Tetra Pak Aseptic Lines and Krones Blow Mold systems is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with GMP and OSHA standards related to manufacturing operations.
- Ability to work independently during nighttime shifts and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
