Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Full-Time in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the property, staying visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be a key point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff, responding to questions and assisting with access control as needed. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your attention to detail will help to identify and report any concerns. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attentive patrols.
- Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to company and site guidelines.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
- Support access control measures as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
