Commercial Electrician – College Residence Hall Renovation
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Location: Davidson College
Job Type: Temporary short-term project. This project is set to last until mid-September.

We are currently hiring a skilled Commercial Electrician for a renovation project at a college residence hall. The project is entering its final stages, with rough-in work completed. Responsibilities include running and bending conduit, pulling wire, and completing overhead lighting installations.

This is a smaller-scale, straightforward project, but we are seeking experienced professionals who can work independently, arrive reliably, and deliver high-quality work. There is potential for ongoing work based on performance and attendance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial electrical experience (7+ years preferred )

• Must be proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting electrical codes

• Strong background in commercial construction environments such as:

  • College classroom buildings

  • Schools

  • Office buildings

  • Large retail/grocery stores

  • Hospitals

• Expertise in conduit work, wire pulling, and overhead lighting installation

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Punctual and dependable

• Must have reliable transportation

• English-speaking or bilingual
