Structures Foreman / Concrete Foreman - Wake County, NC - 30.00-35.00/hour

A well-established civil contractor based in Wake County, NC is hiring an experienced Structures Foreman for direct hire. This role leads a concrete structures crew on active NCDOT projects across North Carolina, including retaining walls, box culverts, and cast-in-place concrete work.

Pay is $30.00-$35.00/hour depending on experience. A company truck is provided and there is a project-based bonus program on top of base pay. This contractor has plenty of work in the pipeline.

What You Will Do

• Lead a concrete structures crew on NCDOT projects across North Carolina
• Build, set, and strip forms for retaining walls (cast-in-place, block, MSE) and box culverts
• Read and interpret rebar shop drawings and NCDOT structures plans
• Set up erosion controls including impervious dikes and stream pump-arounds
• Coordinate daily with project managers, inspectors, and clients
• Track quantities, order materials, and input crew time into Heavyjob
• Maintain a safe, orderly jobsite with full OSHA trenching, excavation, and fall protection compliance

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Experience leading concrete structures crews on civil or NCDOT projects
• Knowledge of cast-in-place forming systems and retaining wall construction
• Erosion control experience including impervious dikes and pump-arounds
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• Willing to travel across NC and work weekends as project demands require

Preferred:

• NCDOT structures plan experience (culverts and walls)
• Heavyjob software experience
• MSE wall construction experience
• Rebar shop drawing interpretation
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
