Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Flexible coverage—no block scheduling; assignments based on department needs
Qualifications
- Current RN license and eligibility to practice in NC
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications (prior to start); ENPC within 90 days
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a high-volume ER (Level II trauma or higher)
- Background in comprehensive stroke center or major trauma preferred
- Resilience, adaptability, real-time coaching skills, and passion for team-based care
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered emergency care utilizing best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and techs
- Manage cardiac monitoring, triage, and acute interventions
- Communicate effectively with patients and families using AIDET and empathy
- Float within all ED sections as needed
