Schedule

• Every other weekend required
• Flexible coverage—no block scheduling; assignments based on department needs

Qualifications

• Current RN license and eligibility to practice in NC
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications (prior to start); ENPC within 90 days
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a high-volume ER (Level II trauma or higher)
• Background in comprehensive stroke center or major trauma preferred
• Resilience, adaptability, real-time coaching skills, and passion for team-based care

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered emergency care utilizing best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and techs
• Manage cardiac monitoring, triage, and acute interventions
• Communicate effectively with patients and families using AIDET and empathy
• Float within all ED sections as needed
