Position Summary

Tryon Medical Partners is actively recruiting a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join our growing 100% outpatient practice. This position offers a predictable schedule, minimal call responsibilities, a guaranteed salary, and the potential for partnership within a physician-led organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care and patient evaluations

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions

• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging

• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, arterial and venous vascular studies, exercise stress tests, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans

• Monitor quality of care through chart reviews and clinical data

• Collaborate with primary care providers on cardiovascular disease management

• Stay current with cardiovascular research and best practices

• Participate in minimal, rotating after-hours urgent patient phone call coverage only

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (ABIM)

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license or willingness to obtain

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

• Proficiency with EMR systems (Athena experience preferred)

• Two (2) or more years of full-time cardiology experience

• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment

• Excellent analytical and research skills

• Empathetic, patient-focused communicator
