Hvac Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Raleigh area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and split systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service performed and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).

• Experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Field service experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply knowledge from blueprints and schematics.

Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, including heights and confined spaces. The role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 75 lbs. Technicians must adhere to safety standards and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $88000.00 - $94000.00/yr.
