We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot access control and security systems at commercial and multi-family properties. Responsibilities include:
- Installation, service, and maintenance of low-voltage systems
- Gate automation operators (slide, swing, barrier arms)
- Access control systems (card readers, keypads, controllers)
- Door hardware including electric strikes, maglocks, and electrified panic/push bars
- CCTV / surveillance systems
- Troubleshooting wiring, power issues, and system failures
- Performing service calls and documenting work completed
Requirements:
- Experience with low-voltage access control and security systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot effectively
- Knowledge of door hardware and gate operators
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism on site
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with commercial properties
- Gate operator or access control manufacturer experience
- Lift or gate safety certification
