Used Car Sales Manager

Our dealership is looking for a Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department. In this position, you are responsible for managing our used car inventory, which involves researching, purchasing, and pricing vehicles. You also oversee the sales staff, helping them meet monthly goals and encouraging leadership development within your team. This position takes strong communication and relationship management skills to get the most out of your employees and the best deal from wholesale dealerships. Our ideal candidate has prior experience with used cars, preferably in a supervisory role.

Used Car Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and source inventory
• Negotiate with dealers and wholesalers for the best price
• Determine prices for used vehicles
• Hire and train sales staff
• Set sales goals for your team

Used Car Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Several years of automotive sales experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Sales and trend forecasting abilities
