_Are you ready to join a growing team?_ **CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer III opening for our client in Wilmington, DE.** **Duration:** 12 months **Overview:** The Software Engineer III leads the design, development, and implementation of complex applications to deliver innovative, scalable solutions. Acting as a technical lead and mentor, this role drives full lifecycle development, ensures best practices, and aligns all efforts with strategic technology goals. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Lead complex systems analysis, design, and full lifecycle development. + Act as technical lead and subject matter expert on major projects. + Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers. + Collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. + Develop and review test plans, debug complex issues, and maintain documentation. + Recommend new tools, frameworks, and approaches to improve system performance. + Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards. **Scope & Leadership:** Operates independently under general supervision, leading development teams and coordinating project resources. Provides technical direction, conducts code reviews, and assists in evaluating team performance and growth. **Required Qualifications:** + Associate degree and 6+ years in systems analysis/application development (or 8 years combined experience in lieu of degree). + Strong proficiency in **.NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core 6+, C#, ASP.NET WebForms, Web API** . + Experience with **Angular, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, Azure Cloud** , and **CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)** . + Deep understanding of **TDD, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices** . + Excellent communication and multitasking skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. + Experience with **PrimeNG/KendoUI** , **dependency injection** , **DocuSign/FileNet** , and **enterprise frameworks** . + Background in **financial services or banking** environments. + Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver high-quality results.
