Maintenance Technician
Pay: Starting at $28 (higher with experience)
Schedule: Night shift Rotating 223 schedule

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily plant operations by performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and machine repair. This role keeps production running efficiently and safely while contributing to a high performance manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and ISO 14001 EMS requirements.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to reduce downtime.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and production requests.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks and identify potential failures.
- Accurately document maintenance work and parts used in SAP.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and P\&IDs.
- Use light rigging equipment when needed.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, standing, and pulling.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in work and production areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2–5+ years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent military training.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, electrical/mechanical systems).
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally move loads up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable with heights, ladders, confined walking/standing for 10–12 hours.
- Willing to work overtime, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
- Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and document work accurately.
Preferred: Multicraft experience (welding, millwright, pipefitting, lubrication)
- NCDOL Journeyman Apprentice (Level I or II)
- Experience with precision maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Previous maintenance experience in a Fiber Optics Cabling organization.
- Experience with 24v/120v/240v/480v 3phase systems
