Sales Representative
Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fantastic, Civil Engineering Company who is hiring for a Sales Representative to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits, working onsite. The ideal candidate has the ability to manage and grow the sales territory by maintaining relationships with existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- This Sales Representative will drive sales growth within their designated territory, build strong relationships with clients, and effectively promote the company’s products and services.
- To develop in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with both B2B and retail clients.
- Analyze sales data to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Travel to meet customers, attend trade shows and support sales initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to refine sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree combined with three plus years of outside sales experience preferably in construction materials, asphalt testing or related industries.
- Ability to perform territory planning and route management, efficiently plan travel and customer visits to maximize coverage, prioritize high-value accounts and optimize sales efforts.
- Experience delivering compelling presentations and hands-on product demonstrations.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites.
- Direct experience building relationships with contractors and DOTs, establishing trust and credibility with key decision-makers.
- Someone with a strong understanding and familiarity with asphalt texting equipment and density gauges is highly preferred.
