Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated installer to lead a 2-3 person crew installing commercial temporary fence including: Temporary fence panel, chain link, and barricade installations. Opportunity to grow with an industry leader. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and installing various types of fencing, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in diverse outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dig post holes manually or with machinery and set posts in concrete or other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools, digging equipment, and other machinery.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report malfunctions.
• Measure and mark fence lines according to specifications.
• Install various types of temporary fence.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for materials such as posts, panels, and concrete.
• Prepare the site by clearing debris and leveling the ground as necessary.
• Mix and pour concrete for fence posts and other structures.
• Conduct repairs on existing fence as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Always maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a fence installer or in a similar construction role.
• Ability to lift 80+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of different fencing materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain preferred.
• Clean criminal history.
• Drug-free workplace
• Experience driving 2-3 ton trucks and towing trailers.
