Landscape Maintenance Apprentice
Responsibilities - Lead and manage a crew to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in all tasks.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance at all times.
- Work with crews to maintain the client and LLG standard of quality.
- Plan and schedule crew size, routes, and hours for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct end-of-day preparation and morning dispatch to ensure equipment is maintained and supplies are stocked.
- Inspect landscapes for issues with turf, trees, plants, and irrigation.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Facilitate onboarding and job start processes with the Production Manager.
- Promote continuous improvement through training, coaching, and development of crew members.
- Enforce company standards, including uniforms and equipment maintenance.
- Engage with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance or construction is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb, and dig throughout the day.
- Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
